The tourada à corda on Terceira
On Terceira, the tourada à corda is run in the street. The bull, its horns capped, is held on a rope round its neck, and the pastores hold the rope. The season runs from 1 May to 15 October, and many touradas are part of the parish and Holy Spirit festas.
